CHINA – Corning Incorporated teams in China and France recently delivered a shipment of Corning? Advanced-Flow? Reactors to a customer in China, to enable efficient production of their air disinfectant, peracetic acid (PAA).

In this case, the customer team executed process development in the lab in a matter of days using Corning Advanced-Flow Reactors, then continued making PAA solution at 6 tons per day with the same reactor system to meet urgent demand. Corning Advanced-Flow Reactor teams continued to work closely with the customer team over the course of two weeks to scale-up production to 50 tons per day using the Corning Advanced-Flow Reactor system for industrial mass production.
The customer project leader praised Corning's rapid delivery and effective technical service. "From the installation of the laboratory platform reactor in the middle of January to the rapid delivery of the industrial equipment, it was less than a month ago, which greatly surprised us."
